1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We also use similar browser storage (localStorage) for some features. Together this policy calls them “cookies”.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary — authentication cookies set by Supabase keep you signed in and secure your session. These cannot be switched off while using signed-in features.

Functional — we use browser localStorage to remember your shopping cart (houzzdat_cart_v1) and recently-viewed products on this device. This data stays in your browser and is only sent to our servers when you sign in and sync your cart.

Payment — when you pay, Razorpay may set cookies required to process the transaction securely and prevent fraud.

We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and checkout from working. Clearing site data will also empty your saved cart.
