Houzzdat Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Houzzdat”, “we”, “us”) operates the houzzdat.com website, the Houzzdat construction management application, and the Houzzdat materials marketplace. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Data we collect

When you request a quote, place an order, create an account, or contact us, we may collect: your name, phone number, email address, delivery pincode and site address, business name, and GSTIN (for B2B invoicing).

When you use the website, we collect standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, used for security and performance monitoring.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to: respond to quote requests and process orders; generate GST-compliant invoices; arrange delivery and confirm proof of delivery; send transactional messages about your orders (email, SMS, or WhatsApp); improve our products and services; and comply with legal obligations under Indian law, including tax and accounting requirements.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Processors and service providers

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract: Supabase (database and authentication hosting), Razorpay (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Interakt (WhatsApp business messaging), and Cloudflare (website hosting and content delivery). Payment card details are handled entirely by Razorpay and never stored on our systems.

5. Data retention

We retain order, invoice, and payment records for the periods required by Indian tax and company law (generally 8 years). Quote requests and account data are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter, unless you ask us to delete them earlier where the law permits.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent for non-essential processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
